For almost three years I worked as Development and Communications Coordinator at one of the country's largest multi-artform festivals, Ageas Salisbury International Arts Festival. My role was broad and encompassed everything from designing brochures, billboards and flyers, through to standing on stage and introducing acts (eek!)
The billboard above depicts four very different performances each taking place at Salisbury Festival. From the family-friendly show Beards! to the dry humour of Romesh Ranganathan, I wanted the advertisment to showcase the variety of acts included in the programme.
The images above show my designs for a set of 3 metre, three-sided towers. Each tower includes a list of performance genres, allowing the public to tell at a glance the sort of events taking place. The design offers just the right amount of information, with eye-catching imagery and an emphasis on variety.
